Jerez is famous for Sherry and wineries. Many of them can be visited and you can see them just by presenting yourself at the winery facilities. Nevertheless, you are advised to contact these centres so that you get informed about the exact time in which visits are carried out in your native language. Besides, visits are limited on weekends and public days.

Jerez is famous not only for Sherry and wineries but also for the horses.
Every Thursday there is a show at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian
Art. In summer season there is another show on Tuesday. On Saturday you can
visit the Cartuja Horse Breeding Herd in a large piece of land in Cadiz Province
called El Suero, about 3.1 miles from Jerez.
In your leisure time you can visit the Hammam Andalusí, local zoo or the speedway tracks which are about 3.20 miles from Jerez in the direction of Arcos de la Frontera.
