Thanks to the special idiosyncracy, the April Fair in Seville, the Horse Fair
in Jerez, the Fair in Cordoba and the Fair in Malaga are known worldwide. Besides,
they constitute the main topics in Andalusia.
One of the specialities is expressed throughout the organization and presentation
of an authentic Andalusian fair. These celebrations take place inside or outside
at any time of the year, though they are normally carried out inside.
At the entrance there is usually a front fair illuminated by hundreds of light
bulbs. In case they form an incentive, they are thematically designed. Further
on, we can find marquees with music located on both sides so that necessary
streets are created depending on the amount of visitors.
The streets are decorated with light and Chinese lanterns and at the end of
the main street lies a platform on which several musical groups make the site
more enjoyable during the whole celebration. On the other hand, every authentic
marquee of music is decorated by the department of decoration and design with
elements such as shawls from Manila, flowered wallets, coloured Chinese lanterns
and so on…
