Jerez has a reputation of being the cradle of Flamenco Art, being defended by experts as the Mecca of Flamenco Singing.
If we had to stress the flamenco styles which characterize Jerez along the history of this art, we would have to mention "seguiriyas" and "bulerias", with creators of these two styles that have passed to the history of flamenco singing with their own mark.

THE FLAMENCO FAMILIES
Regarding families with flamenco art, Jerez is inmensely rich. These families have worked enormously so that our city is internationally known as THE CRADLE OF FLAMENCO.

THE "TABLAOS"
The stage arranged for the show of the artists is the TABLAO. In Jerez we have the internationally known FIESTA DE LA BULERIA which is celebrated among the activities of the Fiestas de Otoño. We would like to value enormously the work of spreading and exaltation which the PEÑAS FLAMENCAS (FLAMENCO CLUBS) perform, since they are, with no doubt, the ones that make it possible that many enthusiasts of the flamenco art taste it, in an intimate, family atmosphere.
