Jerez has a reputation of being the cradle of Flamenco Art, being defended by experts as the Mecca of Flamenco Singing.
If we had to stress the flamenco styles which characterize Jerez along the history of this art, we would have to mention "seguiriyas" and "bulerias", with creators of these two styles that have passed to the history of flamenco singing with their own mark.

The ‘Mini-Rocio’ or Andalusia’s Romeria, as it is known, is a recreation of one of the purest and most popular ‘fiestas’ of Andalusia. The intention is to create as accurate a representation as possible, holding the Romerias in areas full of vegetation such as the vineyards near Jerez, country houses, farms, and estates. We can also hold Romerias by the river Gualdalquivir and even travel by boat, disembarking on river jetties where visitors can enjoy watching a great variety of aquatic birds, a real spectacle to behold.

Over the last years, congress and meeting tourism has become a referent for the province of Cadiz. This tourist sector is completely qualified to generate many attractions and it offers a rest from the frenetic life and the problems at work. Lunches and thematic dinners constitute the most suitable means to achieve it.

One of the most characterizing places in this area is the wineries, the so-called wine cathedrals in which visitors will know step by step the history and the aging process of such drinks. They will visit the courtyards, gardens and will taste different wines in these very centres. Wine tasting courses are frequently held and it is taught the way you must analyze through your senses, describe your perceptions, compare them in relation with certain rules and express your opinions reasonably. Wine tasting means: Trying to know a product whose quality we want to perceive through our senses (specially taste and smell).

Visitors are offered the chance to enjoy some adventure days close to nature and drive the famous quads in Cadiz Province. Apart from visiting attacking bull cattle and stud farms, they are also given chance to go all over the local vineyards through rural paths and cattle tracks. Besides, we propose visitors routes along medium and high mountains. If they want to drive a quad with one or two seats, they must have just a driving license for motorcycles with powerful engine as quads are surprisingly easy to drive.

This activity is as old as the salt mines in this area. It consists in the collection of fishes caught in the marshes where they grow and reach maturity in the course of the year. These kind of small shallow lagoons contain calm warm water and a great quantity of plankton.
